An example of the open, story introductions, reporter standups, commercial playoff, return to program, sport preview, cross to weather and close of WIN's Late Edition News. This particular edition aired on October 17, 2007 and is anchored by Paul Taylor, with weather presented by Samantha Heathwood from WIN's Rockhampton news studios. WIN's Late News bulletins from this era only feature stories from five of the seven markets covered by WIN Television Queensland (RTQ) Those regions are Rockhampton, Cairns, Townsville, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba. Bulletins for Wide Bay and Mackay didn't commence until early in 2009, although the Late News was still aired into all seven regions. Studio presentation for WIN News in 2007 was in 4:3 ratio, as widescreen didn't start until December 2008 for Toowoomba and Sunshine Coast, and March 2009 for Rockhampton, Cairns and Townsville.
